====== Quest of the Life Stone ======

This is a timed quest, do not dawdle on the way!

Prepare a **Diamond** (the one from the WindHowl mayor).

Find Yrian Earthsong at the druids' camp, and say **Life Stone**.

Three possibilities are available at this moment:

  * "//Our precious life stone has been stolen, but it presents no danger now. We resolved the issue very quickly.//" (The quest has been completed recently, you need to **wait for the quest reset** or try speaking to them again).

  * "//The life stone is a means of defense to protect nature from evil. This stone must not fall into the wrong hands, or horrible events may occur. If it is stolen, we will be able to create a new one after some time. The previous stone will be drained of all energy and power.//" (This message indicates that the quest is ready to begin and starts a **X-minute flag** before you can trigger the quest, 5 minutes or 20 minutes, etc.).

  * "//It's terrible, my friend! The life stone has been stolen! You must retrieve it for us, or we will be defenseless against goblins and immortals. We saw the thief: it seems to be the renegade orc chief, the general of Jarko's armies. If the stone falls into Jarko's hands...//" (This message **triggers the quest** and starts the timer!)

Once you receive this message, head to the Renegade Orc Chief at -3 in Jarko's area to say **Life Stone**, he will tell you who has the life stone, and you have __two options__:

  * Mhorgwloth, the Orkanis troll, will exchange it for a diamond if you say **Life Stone**.
  * Asarr, in the Thieves' Town, will exchange it for gold, 1000 PO, if you say **Life Stone**.

Once you have the Life Stone, you have __two possibilities__:

  * Go to see Araknor at LightHaven, and say **Life Stone**, he will take it and give you a **Blade of Darkness**.

OR

  * Return the Life Stone to the druid Yrian Earthsong, and he will give you a **Surgeon's Scalpel** in exchange.

Note: It should be noted that this quest is usually flagged at the server level, and when it is stolen (the stone), another player can beat you to it and retrieve it from the troll or Asarr. I personally tried to complete both items at once, but it's impossible. The troll, after giving the life stone, will refuse to give it again until the quest is reset.

Reward:

  * Surgeon's Scalpel __OR__ Blade of Darkness
